These open areas are rife with cat briars, they even grow up the trees. No wonder I’ve named this area ‘Cat Briars Meadows’ Copyright © 2020 Gary Allman, all rights reserved.

Cat briars are taking over this area, and climbing the trees as well. I suspect the only thing keeping the trail open here is the horses.
