Cross for Darlene

Cross for Darlene

Brass Cross framed in iron by Jim.

This piece is interesting because it was made without welding (Jim’s welder was broken). The ironwork tendrils surrounding the cross were made from four metal bars hammered and worked into the intricate frame.

The picture was very simple to take – we just hung it on the wall and used a white reflector to the right. I did have to clean up a few scruff-marks from the wall – it must be time to repaint the office area.
